Master of Medical Science (PA Medicine)
The program curriculum prepares students to provide patient-centered care and collegially work in physician-PA teams in an inter-professional team environment. The curriculum establishes a strong foundation in health information technology and evidence-based medicine and emphasizes the importance of remaining current with the changing nature of clinical practice. The professional curriculum for PA education includes:
- Applied medical, behavioral, and social sciences
- Patient assessment and clinical medicine
- Supervised clinical practice
- Health policy and professional practice issues
- Individual professional responsibility
- Working in the health care delivery systems
