Education Specialist (EdS)

Overview

The purpose of the Educational Specialist degree is to equip the student for the practice of research and leadership at a high level of professional competence. The program of study for the Educational Specialist includes core courses and concentration-specific courses for a total of 36 credits are required for graduation. There are two options for concentration: Higher Education Administration or K-12 Administration. Students must fulfill the requirements for a specific concentration of study and work closely with their academic advisor to plan his/her course of study.
