Introduction to structure and function of biomolecules. Emphasis is given to protein structure as this relates to enzyme catalysis. Central metabolic pathways are described along with the anabolic and catabolic pathways in polysaccharide, lipid, and nucleic acid metabolism. Lab fee required.
