MUSC-4301 Fundamentals of Music Production
Exploring the stages of pre-production, production, and post-production in the music studio. Topics include session setup, equipment function and application, workstation skills and technique, microphone placement and technique, signal processing, critical listening skills, and troubleshooting. This course is to be taken in the concurrent semester as a Small or Large Ensemble, in which the student will be experiencing a hands-on approach to music production with a live ensemble.
