ODEL-2302 Adventure Education

Introduces the historical and theoretical basis, professional expectations and responsibilities in adventure education. Topics include the meaning of Adventure Education as expressed in therapy, place awareness, the use of experiential, environmental education, and challenge philosophy. Such approaches may be implemented in corporate, camp, municipal recreation, Church-based programs or educational settings.
