PHED-4303 Current Topics in Athletics and Physical Education
A study of contemporary issues that guide, shape, and influence physical education and athletics. With a focus on current trends and societal developments, students will explore implications for those choosing to pursue careers as teachers and coaches. Aligned with our commitment to developing transformational leaders for church and society, this course encourages students to examine these issues through a biblical lens. By understanding the broader context in which physical education and athletics operate, students will be better equipped to navigate the complexities of their future professions. The primary emphasis will be to train coaches for the K-12 educational context.
