PLSC-3301 American Politics and Film

Film is used for surveying and improving our understanding of political science topics such as legislative behavior, elections, presidential politics, and the legal system. Students will compare the portrayal of American politics in film with political science research. The goal is to evaluate the degree to which films faithfully represent the political process, not assess their artistic merit.
