BIOL-3455 Animal Behavior

Historical and modern development in animal behavior. A comparative analysis of behavior among a variety of animals. Emphasis on social behavior, communication, territoriality, predator-prey relationships, aggression as well as reproductive and parental behavior will be made. Mechanisms in which animals collect and interpret environmental and social signals in intra- and interspecies interactions will be discussed. Lab fee required.
