CHST-2308 Old Testament Poetry and Wisdom Literature

Focusing on the five poetic books of the Old Testament (Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and The Song of Songs), this course is the study of the poetry and wisdom literature of the Old Testament and Apocrypha. Included in this study are the workings of Hebrew poetry, the theology of the Psalms, and the world view behind the Wisdom Literature. (Biblical)
