The Project Management undergraduate certificate is designed to provide students with an understanding of processes and tools in the Project Management Institute (PMI)’s defined knowledge areas that can be applied to any project, big or small, business or personal, locally or globally. This certificate will also prepare students for two internationally recognized exams, Certified Associate in Project Management, and Agile Certified Practitioner, offered by PMI. The student will gain insight into how scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, procurement, stakeholders, value, teams, adaptive planning, problem solving and continuous improvement all play a role in the success or failure of a project. This certificate is eligible for up to 12 hours of university credits at the undergraduate level. University credits are awarded for courses completed with a grade of C or higher. Acceptance to this program does not guarantee acceptance into the full NGU degree program.
Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a professional undergraduate Certificate in Project Management from North Greenville University.
