BIOL-2321 Biology Research and Analysis

Designed to present the scientific method within the context of the biology discipline. Students will learn techniques and practices in research design, development of testable objectives, data collection, analysis and interpretation, report preparation, and presentation. Students will use library/internet resources and techniques for conducting a literature search and reviewing a scientific topic. The course also reviews laboratory and field research opportunities and how to best prepare for admission into various professional and graduate schools.
