BUSN-3325 Management Information Systems

Provides business students with an understanding of the role of Management Information Systems within a corporate structure. Coverage includes: analysis of case studies of current business systems, formulation of an overall design of a data base within a corporate system, collection and structuring of information flow, preparation of DFD and ERD diagrams and decision tables, establishment of system documentation requirements, and development and implementation of the systems test plan. Presentation of a team project is required.
