CJUS-3315 Law Enforcement Use of force

Study of law enforcement use of force in the United States with a focus on tools, methods, and tactics as well as the department policies and Supreme Court precedent that govern the use of force. Special attention will be given to contemporary examples of use of force that have been widely circulated in the media.
