CJUS-4390 Internship/Cooperative Education
The student will participate in a supervised observation/orientation into the functions of a Federal, state, or local criminal justice agency. The student will be supported and supervised by experienced agency personnel and NGU Criminal Justice faculty. Students may participate in line activities such as patrol, research and planning, administration, investigations, records maintenance, juvenile intake or operations, and community relations. The internship/cooperative education course may be taken in one or two semester terms. Internship placement requires approval of the NGU Criminal Justice faculty and agency representative(s).
