ELED-4312 Professional Development (Service Learning and Parent Involvement)
An overview of approaches to and resources for professional development, as well as techniques and strategies for service learning and for promoting parental involvement in children's schooling. The class will be conducted in a seminar format requiring extensive and intensive participation in discussions related to the seminar topics and based on experiences in classrooms. Field experience required.
