MMED-5370 Teaching AP Music Theory
This course is designed for Music Educators who wish to be certified to teach Advanced Placement Music Theory at the high school level in order to prepare students to be successful or exempt one or more semesters of college theory classes. The subject matter of the AP Music Theory Exam will be explored in depth, and the music educator will develop a course syllabus. Materials and resources will be available for examination. The class will meet 5 full days on campus, and the second week will be online.
