PHED-1102 Flexibility Training

This course is designed to be an introduction to flexibility training through low-impact mobility and flexibility techniques. Students will gain insight and application of flexibility as it relates to the FITT principle and engage in muscle strengthening, muscle elongating, and stress/anxiety reducing types of exercises. Students will be taught breathing techniques to enhance their flexibility, principles of training specific to flexibility, and health benefits of training under various conditions (injury, restoration, etc.).
