PSYC-4301 Psychology of Religion and Spirituality
This course explores psychological aspects of religiosity (which involves beliefs and behaviors characteristic of social, public, organized means of relating to that which we deem sacred or divine) and spirituality (private or subjective beliefs and practices related to the transcendent). The nature and concerns of religiosity and spirituality (R/S), developmental issues in R/S, research findings about the relation of R/S to other topics such as physical and mental health, will be explored in this course.
