Elementary Education Minor

Overview

This minor is only for non-education majors. Students majoring in a discipline who want to have an educational component can declare this minor. All field placement courses require a current background check, a negative TB test, and transportation to and from the field placement. A minor in education does not result in teacher certification or licensure.

Each course is required for the Elementary Education minor. EDUC-1330 Planning and Assessment and EDUC-2370 Classroom Management have a field placement requirement.
