CSCI-3362 Programming for the Internet

This course continues the student’s understanding of various programming languages and the role they play in today’s web-centric industry. The focus of this course is to develop “full-stack” (both client and server) skills using languages available to address the client-side web design and the dynamic content from remote servers. Topics of discussion include fundamental network concepts and current client-side web design tools, both commercially available as well as open-source. The course will also cover server-side software development tools and data accessibility using languages for scripting, .net, Java, and SQL.
