Accelerated Master of Education
The Accelerated M.Ed. programs are the combination degree tracks that allow NGU students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the College of Education's Early Childhood Educational Studies program to take courses that will apply to both their undergraduate degree and the master’s degree. After being accepted into the Accelerated Master’s Program, based on the University criteria specified above, undergraduate students may apply up to three graduate courses (9 credit hours) to their undergraduate degree.
The graduate courses that may be applied to the undergraduate degree will be chosen from the following graduate courses:
EDU-5200 Intervention Strategies and Techniques (for EDUC-3350 The Exceptional Learner)
EDU-5850 School and Community Relations (for EDUC-4375 Family and Community Relations)
EDU-6640 Behavior Management (for EDUC-2370 Classroom Management)
The 9 approved graduate credit hours will replace undergraduate credit hours in comparable subject matter as determined by the academic department.
