BIOL-3300 Creation, Faith, and Science

An introduction into the origins of life, using an integrated scientific and Christian perspective. The course includes coverage of the scientific method, the philosophy of science, and the experimental and historical data used to support evolutionary theory. The biblical foundations of creation and the views of young-earth creation and old-earth creation expressed among Christians will be discussed. Interpretations of biological and geological data by atheistic/agnostic scientists and scientists with different views of creation will be explored.
