MGMT-2310 Management and Organizational Behavior

This course is designed as an introduction to management. The purpose is to introduce students to concepts and information about the people, structures and functioning of complex organizations. Emphasis is on knowledge and skills related to the role of individuals and groups within organizations as well as organizational systems and dynamics. Planning, organizing, directing, controlling and staffing are explored. By the end of the course, students will better understand how complex organizations operate, the factors that influence the behavior of organizations, and the factors that influence the behavior of individuals in organizations.
