MGMT-3301 Contracting and Procurement
This course examines contracting and procurement and the importance of this field in effective supply chain strategy. Students will learn how to develop a procurement strategy that is complementary to the overall organizational strategy. Topics included in this course are contracting, purchasing, the request for proposal process and platforms, quality programs in procurement, vendor selection, vendor management, conflict resolution, and contingency planning.
