MUSC-3355 Worship History
An examination of the changes in worship practices over history, including Old Testament tabernacle, first and second temple periods, the Exile, the institution of the synagogue system, and its relationship to the New Testament church, and subsequent changes in worship practice in Christianity through to the modern day. Special emphasis is given to non-musical forms and practices, especially those that place the church in the center of culture-shaping throughout history.
