PHED-4600 Directed Student Teaching
The teacher candidate practices teaching under the direction and guidance of certified, experienced classroom teachers and college supervisors. This course provides an opportunity to incorporate theory into practice. The student progresses from observation to full-time teaching responsibilities. Attendance of weekly seminars are required and are evaluated by appropriate individuals. Students will be required to complete a minimum of 60 full days totaling 480 hours of supervised clinical experience. Prerequisites: Completion of all other required major courses and admission to NGU Teacher Education Program.
