PSYC-2370 Introduction to Counseling

This course presents the history, theories, processes, issues, specialties, and trends in the counseling profession. The course concentrates on the personhood of the counselor, as well as emphasis on counseling in specific settings with certain populations, assessment procedures, creativity, and information on the use of tests for diagnostic purposes.
