Overview
The Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication prepares students for responsible and professional leadership as they think critically and communicate creatively on behalf of organizations in business, non-profit and ministerial settings. It includes a communication core focused in theoretical and ethical approaches, a strategic communication core laying foundations for organizational and persuasive interactions and three concentration specialties in public relations, communication studies, and media ministry.
All majors in a School of Communication major with the COMM designation must be completed with a grade of C or better.

The School of Communication aspires to glorify God by providing a practical and theoretical education in written, oral and visual communication that prepares students to be culture-creators for Christ across a broad spectrum of contexts.
SLO
#1: Students will understand the theories, principles, and history of the communicating arts (visual, written, and oral) in their area of concentration.
#2: Students will demonstrate competency in written, oral and visual communication skills in their area of concentration.
#3: Students will integrate theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and professionalism in a practical setting.
