CHST-2306 Kingdom and Kingship in Ancient Israel
A survey of the books of Samuel and Kings dealing with the inception of the Jewish monarchy. Special attention will be given to the characters who shaped the period, e.g., Samuel, Saul, David, Solomon, and what archaeology can and cannot demonstrate in reference to the Bible. This course is the same as classroom component of CHST-2425. No student can receive credit for both CHST-2325 and CHST-2425. (Biblical)
