CHST-2389 Principles of Biblical Interpretation

(For Non-Christian Studies majors) This course is an introduction to the interpretation of the Bible, seeking to provide an historical perspective and reliable principles with which to study, interpret, and apply Scripture. The course is essentially the same as CHST-2390 (Biblical Hermeneutics) except at two points: 1) CHST-2300 Principles of Theological Research and Writing is not a prerequisite for this course, and 2) the student is not required to write an exegetical research paper. Credit for this course cannot count toward graduation requirements for any degree within the College of Christian Studies.
