CHST-2312 Living Abroad
This will be an on-line course taken concurrently with the ICS International Immersion experience. Students will live life alongside experienced field personnel and be exposed to a wide range of realities that will help them understand how to thrive and not just survive in cross-cultural ministry settings. Topics to be explored and experienced will include: missionary life and lifestyle, health and security issues, marriage and singleness, raising children, relationships with nationals, culture shock, stress management, emotional nurture, and maintaining a healthy spiritual life.
