Dick Brooks Honda Greer Community Scholarship

This $1,600 annual scholarship is given in support of students from Greer, SC in pursuing a traditional undergraduate or graduate degree at NGU. In the unexpected circumstance that a student from Greer is not available to receive the scholarship, second preference is given for students from communities contiguous to Greer. The student must demonstrate financial need through the submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA), maintain full-time enrollment, and a cumulative NGU GPA of 3.0 or higher. Dual Enrollment Scholarship

Dual Enrollment tuition is $100 per credit hour. Dual Enrollment students who enroll in our traditional undergraduate bachelors programs after high school will receive Dual Enrollment scholarships based on the hours completed with the NGU Dual Enrollment Program. Scholarships are awarded one-time only during the first semester of full-time enrollment. Students pursuing a degree through one of our NGU Online programs are not eligible for this scholarship.

Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Scholarships (ROTC)

Army ROTC scholarships are available to selected students for two, three, or four years. Recipients, selected by college officials and the Department of the Army, take military science courses each term. Upon graduation they receive a commission in the U.S. Army, Army Reserve, or National Guard. For more information, contact ROTC at https://www.ngu.edu/contact-rotc.php.

Sirrine Scholarships

Sirrine Scholarships are made possible through the generosity of the late Joseph Emory Sirrine, a Greenville industrialist who left the bulk of his estate in trust to provide financial assistance to deserving graduates of Greenville County high schools to continue their educations. Criteria for selection are financial need, academic ability, and personal qualifications. Applications are available at high school counseling offices and the Sirrine Scholarship Office.

South Carolina Baptist Convention Cooperative Program Church-Related Vocational Scholarship Program

South Carolina Baptist students preparing for a church-related vocation may apply for the scholarship authorized by the Executive Board of the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The work involved will be in student visitation, evangelism, or other services as indicated by the local campus minister. The average workload will be six hours per week for the school term. An interview with the Kingdom Advancement Christian Higher Education Committee is required. Application deadline is March 15.

Tuition Exchange

A limited number of tuition scholarships are awarded to participating members of Tuition Exchange (TE) programs.

The purpose of these scholarships is to assist students with their college costs. These scholarship recipients shall not receive any refunds above their actual college costs. The Director of Financial Aid shall adjust their financial aid as needed to implement this policy. Students with these scholarships will be expected to pay for their own books and fees.
