EDU-6302 Action Research in Literacy Coaching

In this course students will deepen their understanding of research-based principles and practices that support the learning of literacy teachers as described in the South Carolina Reading Coach Standards. Students will link theories with their roles as future coaching practitioners as they actively research a topic in literacy. Identification of a problem and creating a plan to address the problem will be part of this course. Students will gather and analyze data and produce an action plan. This will translate into professional growth that supports literacy teachers and the literacy success of students.
